So I have been tagged and here are my answers:
5 things on my to-do list:
clean the entire house
laundry, laundry and more laundry
shop for baby shower items
plan a trip to north carolina
grocery shop
5 snacks I enjoy:
laughing cow cheese and wheat thins
take 5 candy bars
anything with caramel
lemon poppyseed muffins
cookies
What would I do if I were suddenly a billionaire?
I would probably quit my job, build a house out in the meadow (right next to my parents), buy a Range Rover, TRAVEL!!! to anywhere my little heart desired, and make sure Wes' and I's families are well taken care of, and invest. There is just too much to do with a billion dollars, I would definately need help spending it.
5 places I have lived:
Cicero, IN - the best place ever
Lexington, KY
Nicholasville, KY
Versailles, KY
Georgetown, KY
5 jobs I have had:
Thoroughbred Chevrolet - BDC Manager
Paul Miller - various, catch all, everything
Retail: Macy's, Express Men, Limited Too, Gap
Nanny - this might have been my favorite
Lifeguard/Swim Instructor - would definately do this again!
3 things you probably don't know about me:
I have never eaten actual fish. I just can't do it. I grew up on a lake and just keep thinking about all the dead fish that float up to the shore and the horrid smell and.....just NO. I won't ever eat fish.
I have two horrible fears: floppy socks and peeing in the shower! My child will not be running around with her socks flopping off the ends of her toes. She could trip, fall, smack her head. Floppy socks is a very dangerous disease. I cringe just thinking about them. And peeing in the shower? Now who would ever think it was a good idea to relieve yourself where you get clean! It's just a bad, disgusting thing to do. YUCK!
I don't like to sleep alone. And if I have to sleep alone, there is usually a light on in the room. It's not that I am scared of the dark....I just really don't like to be alone and always want someone around to talk to.
So this is the part where I tag other people.....So if you read this you are TAGGED!

Things I have learned from an 8 month old
1. The morning isn't so bad - it actually feels good not to sleep in all day. It's quiet and I get things done.
2. Persistence will get you everywhere. Try and try again.
3. The TV is not that amusing.
4. Taking the remote from daddy is a game that will never get old.
5. If I can't do something by myself - ask for help. Anna can't talk yet but she cries.
6. The things that I can't have are the things I want the most.
7. Swinging outside is just about the most relaxing thing to do.
8. If I don't want to say something, then I shouldn't have to. (We have been working on mama and dada with Anna, and she just turns her head the other way as soon as she hears this)
9. I should try all sorts of food, maybe I will like them the second or third time around.
10. It doesn't matter what clothes I wear on the weekend. No one other than Wes or Anna are going to see me.
11. Time flies.
Anna is growing so fast. She has been crawling for almost a month now and is into everything. She heads straight for the TV cords or any other cord she can find. She loves to chew on the remote, phones or paper. She has two teeth now and loves to eat. She will eat a whole thing of yogurt at one sitting. She babbles constantly, except when daddy is around. She is spoiled rotten by her Grammy who watches her everyday now. She cries when Grammy leaves and she doesn't even do that for me! She loves taking a bath and I can't wait to get her into swimming lessons. Now if only I could find a good place around here that has Mommy and Me classes late at night or on Saturdays!
Well this weekend Anna and I are off to Indy to visit my family and go to my sister-in-laws baby shower. We don't know yet whether Wes will go or not, he hasn't decided. I haven't ever driven more than a half hour with Anna by myself, so we'll see how everything goes!
